Play together on a shared musical clock. Notes are quantised to the grid and scheduled a fixed delay later, so latency becomes a musical displacement instead of jitter.

How it works

The music travels as MIDI, not audio — a note costs a few bytes rather than a continuous stream. Every player runs the same instruments locally, so everyone renders the same performance from a shared clock.

A recorded loop then stops being latency-bound entirely: it syncs once and plays locally on every machine. Only the take you are playing right now pays for the distance between you.
